What should I wear to the session?

You should wear your normal casual, comfortable clothes to the studio. Try to avoid tight clothing which can leave those awful red indention marks on your skin. Bring your wardrobe items in a separate bag. Freshly washed or overly oily hair can be difficult to style. For best results, shampoo the night before. If possible, you should not apply make-up before your photo session. Instead, bring your make-up with you, but arrive with clean skin, with no make-up.

What type of clothes should I bring?

For sanitation reasons, we ask that you please provide your own shoes and undergarments. The best colors to bring are usually white, black, nude or red. You should also bring several pairs of shoes including black strappy heels.

Should I bring anything else?

If you plan on surprising your honey, you might consider bringing something that belongs to him like his favorite button-down dress shirt or jersey.

How long does a typical photo session last?

Generally, photo sessions last between 2 and 3 hours, a portion of which is spent in the preparation department. Delays can usually be attributed to a lack of proper planning for wardrobe & accessories or extra time spent with those who are exceptionally nervous or bashful in front of the camera. We get off on making ladies look and feel their absolute best. So, relax, you can trust us.

Can I bring a friend with me to my session?

While many ladies feel most comfortable without the peering eyes of their all-too-competitive girlfriends, we understand if you’d like to bring a friend for moral support. We recommend avoiding those who may have self-esteem issues, as sometimes this kind of negative energy can really spoil the mood. You suggest choosing a friend that you feel completely comfortable with. Please do not bring more than one person with you and no one below 18 years of age, please. Thank you.

Do I need to have a perfect body to get great looking photos?

Perfect? Who says perfect isn’t you just exactly the way you are? As we all know beauty comes from the inside, but it’s still nice to have spectacular packaging. We understand nothing less than fabulous will do. So, we offer constant guidance throughout the process in an effort to help you achieve the positions and poses that flatter your particular figure the most. Over the years, we’ve worked with a lot of different women and a wide variety of body types. Our experience will help you hide your weak spots and bring focus to your strengths. You will love the way you look!

Can I get some photos taken with my boyfriend during the session?

We love couples session. They can be so much fun. Boyfriends are welcome, however no sexual contact is allowed during session. Please check current prices for any additional fees that may be required.

Do you have a studio?

Yes, our studio is located just moments from downtown Austin on the east side, just south of the Colorado River. Our studio features a variety of backgrounds. There is also a pool on the grounds.

Can we do the photos at my house?

Sure. We love doing photo sessions on location. Call us with your ideas to discuss potential reality. Outdoor sessions generally do not work well in uncomfortable weather. Travel fees may apply.

How many photos will you shoot during the session?

Generally, we take at least 50 images per setup/wardrobe change. So, if you have 3 setups, you’ll get at least 150 images. If you have 4 setups, you’ll get at least 200 images.  

Can I have more than 3 different setups/wardrobe changes?

Yes, of course. Add an extra setup/wardrobe change to any photography session for a small fee. If want more than six wardrobe changes, we recommend splitting your session into two parts, each on a different day. This helps keeps the sessions from getting so long that we end up with tired expressions. Check price list for current rates.

Can I bring my own props and set pieces?

Yes, of course. Please tell us during your consultation about your ideas and props. Email any photos you have beforehand to help us prepare. We can accommodate most requests; plus, we love to collaborate.

Do I get a discount if I put on my own make-up?

Our hair and make-up services are provided for our customers as a complimentary as part of a successful photo session experience. Our staff has been trained in the art of making you look and feel amazing. Our expertise and advice with styling and design will prove an invaluable resource for you, even if you prefer to apply your own make-up.

What kind of digital retouching do you offer?

We offer basic color correction with a simple beauty enhancement that softens the skin and brightens the eyes. This service is included with each image you order as a print. In addition to our basic enhancement, some images may require extra attention. Check out our digital retouching portfolio for more information Additional digital retouching may be requested. What’s the difference between ‘initial print’ and ‘reprints’ on your price list?

These terms refer to whether a specific image has been previously ordered or printed. Initial print prices include basic color correction and image enhancement services, while reprints assume this service has already been covered. Without this service images are not suitable for printing, so the first time you order an image it will be considered initial print.

Can you make me look like the magazine models?

Yes, if you truly aspire to have a waif-like, twig of a figure. But before you get wrapped up in what greedy corporations and the media keep saying is sexy, consider these interesting bits of info. Magazines and television are just advertising media. That means their primary job is to sell you their products and they think you’ll buy it if you think it’s going to make you sexy. But... I want to buy a photo session for someone else, not myself. Do you offer gift certificates?

Yes, we do. In fact, our photo packages make fantastic gifts for the special women in your life. Show her how much you love her by giving her a special day that all about her. We’ll make her feel like a princess and she’ll thank you for it.

Do you offer gift wrapping?

Yes, of course. Just let us know which items you want to give to who and we'll wrap everything up for you. We'll top it off with a personal message from you.

Do you charge a cancellation fee?

We only charge a small cancellation fee of $30 if you cancel (or fail to cancel) with less than 2 days (48 hours) notice or simply don’t show up to your scheduled appointment.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, unfortunately due to the slacker nature so common among Austinites, as well as being stood up a few times, we do require a deposit of $100 in order to schedule an appointment. You may reschedule your appointment date free of charge up until 5 days (120 hours) before your scheduled appointment. Should you need to reschedule your appointment at another time, your deposit (minus any cancellation fee) will be held on retainer until you are ready to schedule your appointment. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we have found that a non-refundable deposit eliminates those who do not take our services seriously.

Can I use more than one discount or coupon?

Unfortunately, multiple discounts are not allowed. Only one discount or coupon per session permitted; so you may combine or use more than one discount or coupons. However, if more than one coupon or discount applies, you may use the higher one now and save the other discount for a future session. Just make sure you redeem the coupon/discount before the expiration date. Restrictions may apply.  

When do I need to pay?

When you are ready to schedule an appointment, you will need to place a deposit via PayPal or check by mail. The remaining balance of your session fee, including any preselected print packages, will be due at or before the time of your appointment, depending on payment method. Do you charge for taxes and shipping?

All prices are subject to taxes and shipping fees. Current sales tax rate in Travis county is 8.25%. Shipping charges and/or deliver fees may apply to print orders.

What if I don’t like the photos? Can I get a refund?

I’ve never had anyone not like the photos, not that I’m aware of anyway. But... if for some reason, you can’t find any photos you like, I will gladly schedule another appointment for a photo session free of charge. The images from the make-up session will act as a replacement for the images taken during the first session and you will not be able to order any prints from the first session. 

Do I have to be naked in the photos?

Absolutely not! Sexy doesn’t necessarily require nudity. Please, do not ever do anything that makes you feel uncomfortable. It’s a good idea to determine before the shoot begins the exact level of nudity you are comfortable with. We will show you a range of photos with various levels of nudity. You will be asked to point out exactly which poses you are and are not comfortable with.
